KIRSTIE CORSO
Kirstie Corso’s diversified training includes time spent at numerous classical schools in various locations around the world including South Korea, Thailand, Virginia, New Mexico, and the DC area. Unable to choose between the worlds of dance and academia, she attended Mercyhurst University where she pursued a dual degree in Dance and Political Science. Ms. Corso is happily continuing a profession in both realms, as a company member at Bodiography and a recent graduate from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Ms. Corso began working with Bodiography in 2009 where she has performed soloist roles and choreographed for Bodiography’s annual Multiplicity. In 2011, she began instructing, choreographing, and setting classical works for La Roche College. In addition to dance, Ms. Corso has become one of the first Bodiography Fitness and Strength instructors and is now serving as the company's program director.
Ms. Corso is indebted to the numerous teachers who helped shape her into the artist that she is today, but would like to extend a special thanks to the Mercyhurst’s Dance Department. And another large thank you also must be extended to her family, the Bodiography girls, and her close friends for all support they provided throughout the years.
